Mountains to the Sea Ministries

Welcome to Mountains to the Sea Ministries where broken people are made whole through community in Jesus Christ.

“Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted to him. Therefore, I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted to you.” Mark 11:23-24 NASB

Our vision is to reach people in our own neighborhood & community as well as sharing the gospel across the nation and across the world. We can only do this by your generous gifts and donations. You can click below to make a difference and change a person’s life.

About

We believe in working together as a community to bless and serve each person as they have need. As it is written, “Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility consider one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.” Phil 2:1-4

Transformation

Body

We are the body of Christ – “And if one part of the body suffers, all the parts suffer with it; if a part is honored, all the parts rejoice with it. Now you are Christ’s body, and individually parts of it.”

1 Corinthians 12:26-27

Mind

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Romans 12:2

Spirit

“For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God. Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God. We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.”

1 Corinthians 2:10-13

Storms of Life Fellowship

Community is the foundation – Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone.

We all face storms of life: doubt, fear, loss of a loved one, divorce, illness, depression, anxiety, PTSD, financial crisis, addictions (just to name a few). We have a life group that meets twice a week to support one another, lift each other up and give encouragement through biblical teaching, education, group share and one-on-one counseling.

When we seek Jesus, he will calm the storms of our life.

“Now on one of those days Jesus and His disciples got into a boat, and He said to them, “Let’s cross over to the other side of the lake.” So they launched out. But as they were sailing along He fell asleep; and a fierce gale of wind descended on the lake, and they began to be swamped and to be in danger. They came up to Jesus and woke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” And He got up and rebuked the wind and the surging waves, and they stopped, and it became calm. And He said to them, “Where is your faith?” But they were fearful and amazed, saying to one another, “Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?” Luke 8:22-25

Recent Events

None of us can do everything, but all of us can do something!

No ministry or organization can do it all. Our vision is to put together a comprehensive list of organizations/ministries with updated information on services they provide. As we counsel individuals, we want to provide them the best resources to get the services they need in a timely manner. There is no one-size-fits-all. We are working with people from the top of the mountain to the bottom of the valley and everyone in between, this includes veterans, people with disabilities (physical & mental), addictions, and people just trying to make ends meet. To see a list of resources, please click below.

If you know of an organization that is not listed, please reach out to us and let us know. We plan to update this list as often as possible.
